Sallah, I said *no* camels.

So I went back to work this week, and today Emmy turned six weeks old! Due to not having paid maternity leave, I hustled on back. While I would LOVE to be a stay at home mom, life demands two incomes right now. I miss Emmy TREMENDOUSLY at work. :( But, at least we have our bonding time in the middle of the night. :D

And then you realize, that she took two hours to get settled again...and now it's time to get ready for work.
OH WELL! :D
(No color or clean lines this time...Emmy decides how much doodle time I have now. ;) )

This Is How We Do It - Disneyland Style

I love Disneyland. You cannot FATHOM how much I love Disneyland. It's unhealthy to the point where I almost can't enjoy Disneyland when I go, because of how much I want to do when I get there.

At the end of the day, I think "If only we hadn't waited in line so long at Roger Rabbit, we could have fit another round of Star Tours..." or "We spent too much time eating dinner, we could have ridden Buzz Lightyear twice during that" or "WHY COULDN'T I FIND DONALD DUCK!?" Anyways. I do enjoy Disneyland, but I believe in getting as much as possible out of the trip (since it's way expensive!! Was it always this pricey??)

Garth was a very, very, VERY good and patient Disneyland companion. He didn't mind me dragging him off the rides immediately to go chase down a parade, or singing along in the Tiki (Tiki Tiki Tiki) Room. What a catch. :)

:D Well, we all have our obsessions, right?
(And no, I probably will never bother to draw actually hands in these comics. Or noses...but that's just because noses are ugly and that is a whole 'nutha story.)

10-Second Rule

Yesterday, Garth saved me two cupcakes from the Blue & Gold Banquet (he works with the Wolf Scouts). Unfortunately, a little girl distracted me with a question, and one of my cupcakes FELL. Garth and Jen thought I was being overdramatic. Well, here's the REAL and absolutely UNDRAMATIZED incident. You decide.

Preg-zilla

You know that "glow" people tell you that comes with "being great with child?"
For me, that glow is usually anger, or the more likely combo of hunger+anger=being hangry.

So while most mothers-to-be stroke their precious bellies and plan what vinyl quotation is going to be slapped on the wall behind the crib (under the monogrammed initials, of course), I'm online gaming.

And, taking liberty at the expense of Beyonce`, I am FIERCE.

Sometimes a bit too fierce... Not to mention when I lose to a bunch of prepubescent boys nurtured on Cheetos and Mountain Dew (Red Bull for the more ambitious nerd-faces), I get REALLY mad.

And then we, (well, I) have to watch corgi puppy weddings on Youtube to find stability again....
They look so happy. Photobombed by a Pomeranian, though.

Well, what do YOU do when you get mad?
